Islet Sheet Medical (www.isletmedical.com) is going to try another transplant this week:
October 27, 1998. This week, in collaboration with Dr. Rilo, we are transplanting another dog. The purpose of the experiment is to restore euglycemia in a dog made diabetic with total pancreatectomy. We will use sheet fabrication methods developed during the past month.
Results will be posted as soon as they are available.
