I believe that "Bill" is Bill Schmidt who is in charge of public relations for JDFI, and who has been a great asset in our shared goal. I have met Bill several times and am convinced he is as frustrated as we all are with the nonsense from NIH and CDC. NIH has chosen to ignore JDF and the entire diabetic community in favor of serving some other master.
Larry Soler is now in charge of Government Relations at JDFI, and has type 1 diabetes himself. Bill and Larry are a team that has both the motivation and talent to make a difference in the misguided and destructive direction taken by NIDDK.
