When I went on the pump, I told the MiniMed rep that my goal in life was to put him out of business. He didn't like that very much. I think we can safely assume that very little of the money raised by this courageous diabetic will go to cure research.
Can you imagine a presentation ever being called, "Adventuring Through Life With a Terminal, Chronic Illness"? I find the title "Adventuring Through Life With Diabetes" very offensive. Sorry, I'm a little touchy these days. Thirty-one years of non-stop adventure has me a little worn down.
