I did see a one hour show on diabetes a few months ago.

It was on the "Nature of Things" by Dr. David Suzuki. It was a glossed over, "look after yourself and you'll be fine", kind of show - which really irked me. Nothing was mentioned about a cure let alone xeno or the daily struggle diabetics go through. This sounds similar to what you saw on GMA.

Just recently, I hosted a "Diabetes Panel Discussion" at a CDA Diabetes Expo. I asked Sue H. if she would pose a question regarding xeno to Dr. Rodger a diabetologist on the panel.

This is what I noticed: when a subject does not come up, Doctors WILL NOT mention it, let alone discuss it. When asked, Dr. Rodger knew about xeno however was not a researcher and couldn't answer all the questions Sue had. It was good to know that Dr. Rodger knew a little bit about the subject. It also made me wonder that if I didn't know about xeno, whether that quesiton would have come up?

On that note, it's unfortunate that not every diabetic knows about xeno. I didn't know about it until I met Sue and she led me to this site over 1 year ago.

Thanks for enlightening me Sue.
