Of course I would tolerate lifetime monitoring in exchange for islets that'll cure me of diabetes. That's a no-brainer.
But that doesnt't mean that we have to give-in to lifetime monitoring without a little protest. Just a little bit. We're not sheep. We're still people with rights.
But you are correct---the bottom line is I'd give up my freedom 100% if I could be cured of diabetes...
