Al & Diane:

First it is important that there be established the principal that Xeno recipient is a potential threat to those near the recipient. If no threat exists then there is no need for testing other than the unfounded fears of the Stahl's of the world. I do not feel a need to mollify the likes of her.

People with Aids do not have a need to have counsel for those near then or potential sex partners. While it is dangerous to have unprotected sex with an HIV positive individual, the need for individual freedom and responsibility was decided in favor of the HIV person a long time ago. Any Xeno policy that abrogates these freedoms as defined by the constitution of the United States, is doomed to failure in the courts. So let them pass their regulations, they will be overturned, as they should be. Patrick Henry said " give me freedom or give me death." He viewed the need for freedom over tyranny to be so great that he would accept death rather than live with tyranny. While the two of you will surrender your freedoms others will not. Should they? Should we? Are we so desperate that we willingly give our souls to the Stahl's of the world? I say nay.

Now is the time these policies will be decided and now is the time to say no, not five years from now.

Steve
