Al;

Is Desmos into encapsulation? It's wonderful to see their pursuit of islet cell proliferation, but imunosuppresion gives me the "willies".

The carcinogenic properties of imunosuppresive treatment seems like a non-starter to me. Perhaps I am naive, but are you not in a high risk of contracting cancer from imunosuppresion? Am I to assess the trade-offs between cancer and diabetes should imunosuppression be the only way to go?

Tough choice, but on the face of it, intuitively, I would wait for encapsulation to avoid the complications of imunosuppresion.

Finally, if they are to proliferate human islets, can I be a donor for my son?
