It's good to hear from you, and thank you for your posting. I know that Boehringer Mannheim Corp. (Now part of Roche Diagnostics) has invested heavily in Liberase, and has been working with researchers such as Encelle and Anthony Sun to help improve the yield from islet purification. Since efficient and repeatable islet harvesting remains one of the challenges for those researchers who use purified islets, your contribution is very important.

I think you deserve credit for developing a product for what today is a small and speculative market, but what many of us believe will become a huge market. Once that happens, B-M deserves the profits that will flow from it's early risk-taking. That's capitalism at its finest!
