Colleen:

I met Jocelyn in Santa Barbara. I know they have an ambitious fundraising task ahead. I wish them luck.

I do not post my email with every message as I like to keep the discussion in public view so that we know who is saying what to who. Secrets bother me and secret correspondances don't mean much if everyone can learn by the communication.

I get flamed here alot but I try to brush off the singes and keep on trying and learning. There is information mixed with emotions just about everywhere I have traveled in the diabetes world. I hope that you continue on. I have let my feelings get hurt and it has never helped Joey one bit. So whenever I walk into that room to give him another test or shot I am reminded why I carry on. I hope that this encourages you to keep at it, tell the truth (whew..wouldn't be nice if we all could do that??) and do your best. Hey, I sound like someone's mother. Oopps, I will probably get flamed for being "condescending". I can take it. I'm growing into a tough old bird. Gotta be tough to give 5,000 shots and 15,000 blood tests to a screaming little one.

Sandra
