Dear Robin:
As you know that comment was made in response to an e-mail i had read from a gentlemen named steve where some quite inflammatory comments were thrown around. I will state again that that sort of thing only slows the process of finding a cure and weakens the diabetic community as a whole. As far as my asking you to jump onto a band wagon and throw support behind anything i suggest that you re read my e-mail and you may find that it was simply providing information that i had received through Eisenhower Diabetes Center on a source of information on developments in finding a cure. if you called the Santa Barbara Diabetes Project or e-mailed Jocelyn@sansumres.com Jocelyn Ondre would send you some information on the project and the researchers involved and the purpose of their group. Dr. javanovich is new to this facility and perhaps has nothing to do with past problems. Read the document before you become upset and attack the messenger. i am not supporting or promoting anyone simply sharing information that i found. Read the information and then make up your mind. Robin i have always read you postings with respect. Steve called people to read Deb Butterfields web cowards and i resent that as i happen to read that site as well as al's and anything else that might increase my understanding of this disease and help in finding an end to my sons disease. That is my agenda in this. I don't think that you believe i was referring to you in the e-mail to steve. At least i hope you didn't
Sincerely,
Colleen Kacerosky
