I'm practically in tears. I don't know all that transpired since all communications are not via this forum, but I do know this, "united we stand, divided we fall". This so deeply saddens me to think the efforts I have witnessed (via this forum and have been supporting behind the scenes) for all these months have fallen.
The efforts by yourself, Melissa, Sue, Keith, Al and most everyone else have been the only thing giving me hope and encouragement.
I respect you greatly for what you have tried to accomplish (I too am a single, diabetic mother), and also understand your decision, just wish it weren't so.
The CCC was such a fantastic idea and I believed would make the most impact to further our goals as a group. And we do need to be known as a group -- a united group -- not self-serving control freak individuals.
Actually, I had postponed my wedding for this. I wanted that much to be a part of it. But not if its run by someone as described in your post.
Well, I'm, off to try and mend my broken heart.
