Thanks Sue and my edition is on the way.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing from London, Ontario, Canada, the home of The Flame of Hope where it stands on the grounds of Fredrick Banting's London home - where he became convinced that something had to be done to stop the deaths caused by diabetes.

Banting was a brave man with convictions and worked on the front line of medicine. Banting had a dream, not for himself, but for a better life for diabetics and their families. He knew he was not dealing with a safe research project - he knew that from the sheer volume of discouraging comments and lack of support from the cautious majority, including the medical community. Banting and Best knew they had not found the CURE and that Insulin was only TRIAGE TREATMENT - life support. What's the recommended length of time to keep generations of the diabetic wounded waiting until a CURE arrives?

I am the THIRD GENERATION in my family - Will there be a fourth among my family, my cousins' families and your family?

Hopefully your forum will bring a few brave souls with conviction to the front lines of the Islet Cure. The brave will always be welcome in London to blow out The Flame of Hope and I assure you there will be 'Glory Enough for All'

Thank you in advance for your bravery-

D. Dianne Terry
