This may not be new news & it is not a cure for diabetes, but it is promising technology in the field of reversal I thought might be of interest to someone for further exploration. Trials for Genentech rNGF nerve regeneration are currently in expanded Phase II (more laxed protocol for acceptance into the study) and at some sites Phase III Trials have begun. It is my understanding that to this point the studies have shown good results...gossip is my quoted source of information, at John's Hopkins, UCLA Berkley, Diabetes Research Institute VA, Einstien Univ., U of T and IU School of Medicine.
