Sandy, sorry to butt in, but legislative assistants to the Congresspeople I have spoken to, say that a petition signed by many is treated as one piece of mail. The organizer of the petition or whtever, is deemed to be the one behind the document.Most legislators keep count of individual letters or messages they receive, and 50 messages are better than one signed by 50 people.
