I am seeking information regarding assistance for my brother-in-law who lives in the Czech Republic. He has diabetic retinopathy. He is the father of two children and has 3 grandchildren that he has never seen. My insurance will not cover medical treatment for him and because he lives overseas I am uninformed as to any treatment options which may be available here in the states. Also any charity orgaizations which may assist in this area. Many Americans do not realize how far advanced in research we are compared to other countries. I am aware that new advances in research and technology are taking place, but I am not aware of how to get in touch with anyone who may be able to advise or assist me. I am also seeking information for experimentation techniques at this point also. Please repond with any information which may lead or guide me in the right direction.
