VERY NICE REPORT. As usual, I have learned a great deal from your posting. I am printing the summary and will try to get Dr. Taylor Wang at Vanderbilt to comment on it for additions or modifications. Thank you for your comments about JDF investing in private industry; it seems very workable if security laws would not prevent it. How can the government make these investments? Finally, what can we do as a community to ensure that adequate funds are available and to work with JDF in order to encourage them to insitutue your suggestions regarding accountability and directing monies toward promising cure research?
