My son was dx'd Jan. 97. I have been reading everything I can find about d. I think it is time for me to get involved. I am profoundly angry at the barbaric way of testing my son's bg's. If they can make an instrument that will read blood gases thru the skin why can't they make an instrument to read glucose thru the skin? I can not believe all the research dollars available and the bizarre trials some are allotted to. I want to help.
Does anyone out there need help? How do I get started?
