Good response to the "officials " you encountered on the walk. We all need to be reminded and to remember that our children are who we are working for.(And if you are a diabetic it is even more important that you advocate for yourself.) I cannot answer your question regarding the NIH and its preference for funding. I am not being evasive. I am being honest. My purpose for attending the conference was two fold. I wanted to hear what the researchers had to say and I wanted to represent my childs interest whenever possible. I will think over what I remember and I will share what I can . Give me a few minutes here. Thanks for the welcome.
