Welcome, Sandra. You're priority focus on your son reminds me of an experience I had at this month's Boston ADA walk. Organizers approached me, looked at my "display" on which "Joslin", "ADA" and "TIF" were boldly lettered. When they demanded, "Who exactly DO you represent?" I responded, 'I represent my daughter, Samantha." I am very interested in your observations at the NIH conference. I get the impression from Gordon Weir that we may not expect much funding for Islet Cell Transplant research from NIH?
