Sandra Sylvestri is here because the passion of her life is to find a cure for Diabetes. Her son is Type 1, her dad is Type 2.
I know Sandra from the Diabetes & Hypoglycemia Forum on CompuServe where my first meeting with her was being paged in the forum and being asked, "What is it like being diabetic?" She really wants to understand. Over the years I have grown to respect and admire her. She is an incredible woman. I can assure you that she is NOT here to spy on us, or here to report back to the JDF. She really cares what you and I think. Talk to her. Tell her what you feel and what you are thinking. She does really listen and she really does want to know.
