I hope one day soon we all will be on the same path as you and you will also be able to be "topped off" and revisit those wonderful few days of better control from your transplant. It seems that this story just doesn't get enough press here in America. I for one would be waiting in line as soon as I could for such a proceedure. I've been diabetic for 23 years and all that time I've been promised a cure in 5 years. now that one with such promise is so dangerously close to fruition, the powers to be are intent on stifling it out before we all can benefit. It sadens me at the current atmosphere in the scientific and laymen circles on exactly who is to be believed when it comes to reasearch and development of a potential cure.
Dr. Elliot, I've invested my own money in your stock. (completely unsolicited by anyone)
Hopefully, soon, I'll be able to benefit from the procedure as well.
