No. Stupidity is here to stay. Sorry.
My daughter was told by a kid when she was in about 5th grade that because she was a "die-abetic" that meant she was going to die.
She tells the story that by the time she got back to her class after the incident she couldn't see the teacher for all her other classmates who were telling the teacher what happened.
The boy didn't do it again - but has never been cured of his general stupidity.
BTW Claire being Claire wasn't too worried, and was a bit sorry for the kid because of the roasting he got. (She also found the whole thing quite amusing.)
