Sorry, I don't agree. The real tipping point should be the restoration of more normal blood glucose, without the body-destroying highs and life-threatening lows of insulin injections. Injecting insulin is a non-issue if only it could result in a normal blood glucose profile. The benchmark should be reduced blood glucose variability and reduced HbA1c. That would spell the end of diabetic complications, hypoglycemic trauma and death, and diminished lifestyle. With that, who cares about injections?
