Maybe I can afford to be philosophical in my next life, but in the current having the type1 disease, its all about being vigilant 24/7. So many lives and resources are being occupied and at times wasted/lost by it.
I started out 35 years ago, only shooting slowacting 'Lente' for the first 9 years or so. Guess I would have been shit scared if given the ultra fast acting to start with, as we 'routinely' use today. It kicks like h... if you get a few units wrong.
After trying pumps I quickly went back to pen shots. Being permanently hooked up to infusion lines was simply being too much enslaved with tedious limitations of must-dos and don'ts.
