A mixture of all sorts ----but would include a lot of 'modern' insulin analogues.
I doubt whether any similar human study has been done comparing older insulins with the new analogues after decades of treatment.
There has always been a recurring question about ordinary insulin treatment and a form of Hodgkins disease---but never convincingly shown.
