Listen to an idiotic statement like this helps me understand the utter failure of JDRF to bring us any closer to a cure for diabetes under Robert Goldstein's reign as chief scientific officer. He has gained no meaningful insights into the disease he is charged with curing.
The probem with JDRF is not the percentage of funds that end up funding research, it is the useless research that they chose to fund, as well as the promising research that they undermine by their own ignorance.
What a worthless organization!
